More about Momi's  passion in education.

Momi conducts educational outreaches with students ranging from pre K to college level. She enjoys teaching children learning to be self reliant just as our ancestors before us. 

Momi conducts outreach to the Department of Education Schools through an organization called Society for Kona's Education and Art. A non profit organization. It is an honor to be listed here as an artist.

 The pueo (owl) symbolizes Hawaiian `aumakua or family guardians. This picture was taken by Momi in Waimea, Hawai`i.

The home of Momi's Hawaiian Natural Herbal products is on the gentle slopes of Maunaloa, on the island of Hawai`i. Maunaloa reaches a height of 13,680 ft. elevation. Many of the herbs contained in her salve are grown right in her yard.

In June of 2007  Indigenous Artist from around the Pacific had a one week gathering in Waimea, Hawai`i to share knowledge about art and culture. Mahalo to Hiko`ula Hanapi and the Board of Keomailani Hanapi Foundation for organizing such a fun and meaningful event.
